RFCs are organized and numbered according to the following categories:
- 001 – 099: Reserved for administrative RFCs intended to define policies, processes, and procedures of the RFC and the TrustTheVote Project.
- 100-199: Digital Voter Registration System and related services
- 200-299: Ballot Design Studio and related services.
- 300-399: EMS Operating System Platform and related services.
- 400-499: Ballot Casting and Counting Systems and related services.
- 500-599: Election Management System and related services.
- 600-699: Future Use.
